iPhone 11 Pro v/s iPhone 11 Pro Max : Which one should you buy?


The latest iPhone models are the best iPhone models so far. It might be a bit of a confusion as to which iPhone should you buy, the iPhone 11 Pro or the iPhone 11 Pro Max. We are here to help you make a decision.
Battery –
The iPhone 11 Pro has a 3190 mAh battery whereas the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 3500 mAh. This means that the iPhone 11 Pro Max would last longer than the iPhone 11 Pro and would me more suitable for heavy users.
Display –
The iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 6.5 inch display whereas the iPhone 11 Pro has 5.8 inch display. The iPhone 11 Pro Max also has a higher resolution of 2688 x 1242 pixels (458 ppi) which is significantly more compared to 2436 x 1125 pixels (458 ppi) resolution of iPhone 11 Pro.
Design –
The iPhone 11 Pro dimensions are 144 x 71.4 x 8.1 mm (5.67 x 2.81 x 0.32 in) and 188 g (6.63 oz) whereas the iPhone 11 Pro Max dimensions are 58 x 77.8 x 8.1 mm (6.22 x 3.06 x 0.32 in) and 226 g (7.97 oz). Clearly, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is bigger and heavier than the iPhone 11 Pro.
Cameras –
Both the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max come with triple cameras. First, a primary camera with 12 MP, f/1.8 aperture, 26mm, 1.4µm pixel size, Optical Image stabilisation (OIS), Quad-LED True Tone flash, 4K 60fps video. Second, a telephoto camera with 12 MP, f/2.0 aperture, 52mm (telephoto), 1/3.4", 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS, 2x optical zoom. Third, an ultrawide camera with 12 MP, f/2.4 aperture, 13mm.
Processor –
Both the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have the new A13 bionic processor. However, none of the 2019 iPhone models are 5G. It is rumoured that 5G will only be added to the 2020 line of iPhones.
Price –
The iPhone 11 Pro starts at Rs. 99,900 for 64 GB version whereas the iPhone 11 Pro Max starts at Rs. 109,900.
Verdict –
Since most of the features and specifications are same, iPhone 11 Pro is an equally powerful yet affordable upgrade for those who are confused between the two.
